We are often consumed with perfection and the end result, that we get lost to enjoy the journey, to find beauty in the colorful grey...

During a difficult time in my life when I was on food stamps and couldn't afford to buy myself flowers, I decided to dig out my acrylics and paint my own flowers instead.

While painting these flowers, I noticed the path had been laid to let these flowers continue to bloom, without being fully completed into the final bloom I envisioned. Rather, there were endless possibilities to let all that come across this painting, to bloom their own flowers. In turn, this would mean that each viewer would be blooming something unique.

A gentle reminder that it is not our duty to lay the entire path for others, but to guide them to see their own way and invite a space in which others can create so many unique versions of brilliance.
