Mixed Media

These pieces are a connection of different worlds coming together in a cooperative manner. Each element is beautiful in its own way but incomplete without its counterparts.

A daring dance between knowing when a piece is done, when it needs something more and what exactly is that missing piece. Mixing media is like building a recipe on canvas; the plat de resistance is not ready to be savored until all the ingredients have been added.

Discovering how to combine the dashes and pinches of mediums along the way has tickled my creative hunger and, for that, I absolutely love working with mixed media.
